GRASP
Welcome to the webpage of the Greek Research Alliance for the Study of Headache and Pain- The GRASP Study Group
The group’s primary objective is the collection and analysis of data to improve the diagnosis and treatment of patients with migraines, headaches, and pain in Greece. Consequently, the GRASP group designs and conducts research studies, while also evaluating new therapeutic regimens and pharmacological treatments aimed at preventing or reducing the frequency and intensity of migraines, other types of headaches, and pain syndromes.
To date, GRASP has published significant and high-quality studies in leading international medical journals such as the European Journal of Neurology, the Journal of Headache and Pain, Frontiers in Neurology, and others.
The Greek Research Alliance for the Study of Headache and Pain works collaboratively, bringing together leading Greek experts in headache medicine, and provides valuable insights into how Greek patients respond to both new and established treatments. It also contributes to understanding how the Greek healthcare system can better support patients with migraine and related disorders, as well as identifying areas for improvement.
