Michail Vikelis

Dr. Michail Vikelis is a neurologist, graduate of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, holder of an MSc in Headache Medicine and a PhD. He directs the Headache Clinics in Glyfada and Agia Paraskevi and serves as Scientific Advisor to the Greek Patient Association for Migraine and Headache. He is also a founding member of the Headache Section of the Hellenic Neurological Society and of the GRASP Study Group.

Andreas Argyriou

Dr. Andreas A. Argyriou is a neurologist with a PhD in Medicine and specialization in Headache and Pain Medicine. He serves as Director of Neurology (NHS) at the General Hospital of Patras “Agios Andreas” and is responsible for the Headache Clinic of the institution. He is a founding member of GRASP and a Board Member (since 2018) of the Traumatic-Toxic Neuropathy Consortium of the Peripheral Nerve Society, where he also coordinates the respective Clinical Working Group.

Manolis Dermitzakis

Manolis Dermitzakis was born in Munich and studied medicine in Thessaloniki. Early exposure to neurology sparked his interest in the field, leading him to complete his residency at Papageorgiou Hospital and in Bonn, followed by a PhD at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He currently works as a private neurologist and principal investigator in headache clinical trials at the General Clinic of Thessaloniki. He is coordinator of the Headache Section of the Hellenic Neurological Society, has authored over 50 publications, and is a founding member of GRASP.

Panagiotis Soldatos

Panagiotis Soldatos is a neurologist and graduate of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He runs a private neurology practice in Kalamata and is also a scientific associate at City Hospital Clinic. He is a founding member of GRASP.

Dimitris Rikos

Dimitris Rikos, MSc, PhD, is a military physician–neurologist and attending physician at the Neurology Department of the 404 General Military Hospital of Larissa and the Neurology Clinic of the 251 Hellenic Air Force General Hospital. He also runs a private neurology practice in Larissa, with a special interest in headache and pain disorders. He is a founding member of GRASP.

Maria Chondrogianni

Maria Chondroyanni is a Consultant Neurologist (NHS) at the 2nd Neurology Department of NKUA at Attikon University Hospital. She holds a PhD (2023, “Excellent”) and has significant clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders. She is responsible for the Headache Clinic and is actively involved in research, publications, conferences, and medical education.

Katerina Foska

Katerina Foska is a neurologist with a private practice in Glyfada, Attica, and a scientific associate at the 2nd Neurology Department of NKUA at Attikon University Hospital. She is a PhD candidate at NKUA and a member of the Headache Section of the Hellenic Neurological Society and GRASP.

Georgia Xiromerisiou

Georgia Xiromerisiou is a Neurologist with extensive experience in movement disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, headache and neurogenetics. She been trained and worked in research and clinical positions as a Neurologist in recognized centers in Greece, the USA and the UK. Her scientific work includes more than 152 publications and over 9,000 references. She is responsible for the Institute of Preventive Neurology and Brain Health in Thessaloniki. At the same time, she actively participates in the education of medical students as a Reader in the English-speaking Department of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Evangelia Makrina Dimitriadou

Evangelia Dimitriadou, MD, MSc, PhDc, is a graduate of the Democritus University of Thrace with primary interests in neuroimmunology and headache. She works as a scientific associate at the 2nd University Neurology Clinic of NKUA, contributing to clinical, research, and educational activities, including the operation of the specialized headache clinic.

Konstantinos Notas

Konstantinos Notas is a neurologist and specializes in the field of multiple sclerosis, headache and stroke. He holds a postgraduate degree in “Neuroimmunology” from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a postgraduate degree in “Vascular Strokes” from the University of Thessaloniki. He works as a supervising neurologist at the “Agios Loukas” Clinic and maintains a private practice in the center of Thessaloniki. He is a member of the Headache Section of the Hellenic Neurological Society and GRASP, participating in research efforts to treat migraine and in corresponding public information and awareness campaigns.

Eleni Mavraki

Dr. Eleni Mavrakis is a neurologist and NHS Director at the University General Hospital of Alexandroupolis. She graduated from the Medical School of Democritus University of Thrace and holds a PhD in neurodegenerative diseases of the CNS. She has extensive experience in acute and chronic headache management and runs a specialized weekly headache clinic.

Christos Tsironis

Dr. Christos V. Tsironis is a neurologist and PhD holder from the Medical School of the University of Ioannina. He graduated from the Medical School of Ioannina and the Department of Biology of the University of Patras. He runs a private practice and collaborates with the Neurology Clinic of the University Hospital of Ioannina, where the specialized headache outpatient clinic operates. He is a member of the Academy of Neurosciences, the Headache Section of the Hellenic Neurological Society, and GRASP.

Emmanouil Giakoumakis

Emmanouil Giakoumakis is a neurologist holding an MSc in Headache Medicine (University of Rome). He has trained at St Thomas’ Hospital in London and at Sant’Andrea University Hospital in Rome. He is a member of the British Association for the Study of Headache, the Headache Section of the Hellenic Neurological Society, and GRASP. He runs a private neurology practice in Heraklion, Crete.

Nikos Dimisianos

Dr. Nikolaos A. Dimisianos is a neurologist and graduate of the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He completed his neurology training and PhD at the University Hospital of Patras. Over the past decade, he has been working as a private neurologist in Corfu.

Maria Koutsokera

Maria Koutsokera is a neurologist, graduate of the University of Patras Medical School, holder of an MSc and PhD in Neurosciences from the University of Patras, and an MSc in Headache Medicine. She works at Thriasio Hospital and is responsible for the Headache Clinic.

Mariviki Kalligiani

Mariviki Kalligianni MD, MSc is a neurologist in Heraklion, Crete, where she has been in private practice since 2022. She has a special interest in headaches, staying fully informed about current developments and new treatments. She is a member of the Hellenic Headache Society, the International Headache Society and the American Headache Society. She is an active member of the Headache Section of the Hellenic Neurological Society and the Greek Research Alliance for the Study of Headache and Pain.

Odysseas Pazionis

Odysseas Pazionis is a neurologist, graduate of the University of Athens, holder of an MSc in Neurorehabilitation, and certified in medical acupuncture. He works in a neurology practice in Heraklion, Attica, and teaches at the University of West Attica and the AcuScience training center.

Anthoula Tsolaki

Dr. Anthoula Tsolaki graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She holds an MSc in Neuroimmunology, a PhD in neurodegenerative diseases, and a fellowship in Vascular Neurology (EAN). She works as a scientific associate at the General Clinic of Thessaloniki and the Greek Alzheimer’s Association. She has extensive experience in clinical trials and participates in national and European research programs.
